She faithfully served 22.5 years in the United States Navy. Following her military retirement, Toni transitioned into education, earning her Georgia Teaching Certification in Special Education. For seven years, she taught in Gwinnett County Public Schools as well as at the American Baccalaureate School in Kuwait. Teaching both nationally and internationally expanded her cultural awareness, empathy, and ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds.
For the past five years she has served as the Volunteer Coordinator as well as a trusted model, mentor, consistent presence for girls of all ages through Diamond In The Rough.
