![]() “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” - Jeremiah 1:5 Many women and girls mistakenly place their value and worth in superficial things like popularity, their looks, their weight or how much money or material possessions they have, but the problem with this is that each one of those things can change in a heartbeat. Looks change, weight fluctuates but money is made and lost daily, and material possessions don’t last forever. Imagine for a moment if you placed your value in something solid; something that wouldn’t change over time but instead would remain constant. How freeing would it be to know that you were more than enough, just the way you are? Well, I’m here to tell you just that and to remind you that this isn’t something that I am making up. Instead it is something God says and thinks about you. In fact, did you know that you are so important and valuable to God that He made a decision to pay the ultimate price for YOU? That’s right, before you ever made your grand appearance here on earth, God knew you before He formed you in your mother’s womb and not only that, He set you apart.
That’s right. He not only formed you with precision, He set you apart for a specific plan and purpose. So knowing that, how dare we reduce our value and worth to superficial or material things on earth? We must remind ourselves that God loves us and He says we have value and worth beyond measure. So, who in the world are we to argue with Him? Priceless Prayer: Lord, please forgive me for placing my value in things and people instead of placing them in what You say about me. Please help me embrace everything that makes me uniquely me. I thank You for handcrafting me in Heaven and for setting me apart for such a time as this. Please allow me to live my life in a way that pleases You and brings You glory. Amen.
