![]() Have you ever been sick and tired of being sick and tired? Have you ever been stuck in a place and wondered to yourself, will my situation ever change. I think if we are honest, everyone can think of a time when they felt stuck or overwhelmed by the circumstances of life. Whether the frustration is brought on by school or the job, by friends or family, by financial struggles or health concerns, if we aren't careful, the challenges we face daily can overtake us. I can think of times in my life when I would earnestly pray for my situation to change. But more recently, I have learned, while prayers are great and are powerful in all situations, often times, while we are waiting on God, He is actually waiting on us. That's right, He is usually waiting on us to do the last thing He asked us to do. You know, that one thing that He asked you to do, but maybe it wasn't a convenient time for you. Or how about that thing that was a little scary and way outside of your comfort zone. Or maybe He asked you to cut off someone or something you've gotten really attached to that isn't good for you. Whatever that "thing" is in our lives, our blessing and the change we desire is usually connected to it. I understand, making changes can be difficult and can even be a little scary because it often requires us to stretch beyond our comfort zone. When we stretch, it often means we are reaching beyond our abilities into a place of faith. It's a place where we have to strictly rely on God to meet us and teach us where to go and what to do. The good news is, that is often the place where the magic happens. As long as we stay comfortable, doing the same thing we have been doing, we will continue to get the same results. Today, I challenge you to stretch and do something different. Venture outside of your comfort zone. Ask yourself, what's the worst that could happen. You don't have to change everything all at one time, just start with one simple thing today. Pray and seek your daily instructions and God will direct your path. I am convinced, if you keep doing your part, soon your situation will change and you will find yourself in a different place, looking back at the struggles and frustrations of today as a mere faded memory. Priceless Prayer Lord, help me help myself. I believe you have a good plan for my life and I desire to experience everything you have for me. I trust that where you guide, you will provide. Now I am taking a step of faith and am committed to doing my part. Help me to be sensitive to your prompting and instructions and give me courage and strength to do the things you require of me. I love you and I thank you for all your blessings in advance. In Jesus Name, Amen.
