 I was recently reminded while wrestling with a major project that has taken far longer than I could have ever anticipated, that I could whine about my situation and remain stuck, or I could shut my mouth, put my head down, and press forward and accomplish the fullness of what God has for me. A little overwhelmed to say the least and even frustrated with the snail-paced progress it feels like I am making at times, the easy thing to do is to throw my hands up in defeat and walk away. But as I voiced my frustration to a loving God, asking Him the questions that so many do and praying from a mighty miracle from Heaven, it's as if God Himself, whispered to me a simple statement, "while you've been waiting on me my daughter, I have been waiting on you".

 Whether we realize it or not, deep within, we all have a longing to know and pursue our purpose. It's what we were made for. The reason we were created in the first place. Many people know their purpose but are frightened by it, and as a result tend to ignore it or even run from it. Yet others search high and low, not realizing the very thing they are in search of has already been placed in their hand and heart. When it comes to your purpose, don't stress, just press towards it. Seek God and begin to move using the very gifts He has entrusted to you. As you move forward using those gifts and talents, your purpose will become vividly clear. |
