Unique by design

I am always amazed at the amount of time and energy people spend on trying to "fit in" with the crowd.  It's one thing to admire a person for their unique qualities, but when admiration becomes obsession, then we have crossed the line.  The reality is if God wanted us to be clones of each other, He would have created us that way.  Instead, He created each of us unique in design.  Each with our own special qualities and quarks. 

Just like diamonds each of us was created full of potential with enormous value. However, until we grasp this concept for ourselves, we will continue to wear ourselves out competing and comparing ourselves to others in a quest to fit in.  Remember, God will never grace you to be someone else, so get comfortable being YOU.  You weren't created to fit in, you were designed to STAND OUT!!!   ​
