![]() I was recently reminded while wrestling with a major project that has taken far longer than I could have ever anticipated, that I could whine about my situation and remain stuck, or I could shut my mouth, put my head down, and press forward and accomplish the fullness of what God has for me. A little overwhelmed to say the least and even frustrated with the snail-paced progress it feels like I am making at times, the easy thing to do is to throw my hands up in defeat and walk away. But as I voiced my frustration to a loving God, asking Him the questions that so many do and praying from a mighty miracle from Heaven, it's as if God Himself, whispered to me a simple statement, "while you've been waiting on me my daughter, I have been waiting on you". Wow, just like that my eyes were open and I was reminded of that simple truth. God has equipped me and you with everything we need in this season. If we don't have it within, He will connect us with people who can fill in the gaps. Nonetheless, there is a significant roll that we play in the process. He doesn't expect us to figure it all out on our own, but He does expect us to do the last thing He instructed us to do. It doesn't matter if it is hard or uncomfortable, we are well equipped for the task. Notice I said, He expects us to do the "last" thing He instructed us to do. Often times, the last thing He asked is a little uncomfortable or may challenge us outside of our comfort zone, so we try and skip over it and move to the next. But I have learned that He will never breathe on our next until we complete the last thing He instructed of us. We just have to focus, press in and move forward towards the finish line. I am convinced, without a doubt, when we jump in and do our part, God is more than willing and able to do His. Priceless Prayer Here I am again God, asking you to strengthen me to do what feels impossible to do. I thank you that your word says, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and that is what I stand on today. Please help me focus my eyes on you and not on my situation. Let me rest in you and not in my own abilities. Please allow me to line up my words and my attitude with your promises and press towards the mark. I realize your plan for me is good and today I commit to doing my part. In Jesus name. Amen.
